“Charissa Thompson’s Awkward Moment at Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour Will Leave You Cringing—Especially in Front of Swift’s Dad!”
NFL host Charissa Thompson has lifted the lid on the moment she was caught dancing in the Eras Tour VIP tent by none other than Taylor Swift’s dad Scott
Thompson was among the star guests at one of Swift’s London shows over the summer, where she was joined by the likes of Travis, Jason and Kylie Kelce.
She appeared on Kylie’s new podcast, Not Gonna Lie, on Thursday, and the host shared one of Thompson’s secrets when she opened up on one particular moment that occurred during the show.
The first time we really got to hang out and spend time together was the Eras Tour tent,’ Kylie began. ‘I will never not be able to see you dropping it like it’s hot while Mr Swift was coming into the tent and you turning round and having just a look of shock.’
Kylie joked that she could pull the story from the show if Thompson didn’t approve, but the NFL host instead told her to keep it – and went on to share another hilarious moment from their Eras Tour experience.
‘At one point I was with Leslie Mann, and I didn’t even know it was her and I smacked her on the butt, and she turns around and I was like, “I am so sorry”,’ she revealed. ‘And she’s like “don’t be”, and I’m like, “great, I’m with my people.”
Things turned more sincere shortly after, when Fox and Amazon host Thompson revealed the emotional circumstances that led to her becoming a fan of Taylor Swift.
‘I was telling Travis this when we were in the tent,’ she began. ‘My love affair with Taylor started when my niece was in the hospital. She was diagnosed with a brain tumor, she was six years old. She’s now 22.
All she wanted to do when she got out of the hospital was go to a Taylor Swift concert. So she gets out of the hospital, half her head is still shaved, bandages, the whole thing… she gets cleared to go to the hospital and she’s singing every word to these songs, and me and my sister are just bawling.
‘From that moment, I was just like, “I love her”.’
At the time, Thompson shared a series of images and videos from the concert, which she attended with her own podcast co-host Erin Andrews
