In an assertive move quashing any retirement speculations, Kansas City Chiefs’ legendary head coach Andy Reid has committed to a landmark contract extension, securing his role at the helm until 2029.

At 66, Reid’s new contract sets a new benchmark in the NFL, positioning him as the highest-paid head coach following his phenomenal back-to-back Super Bowl victories, marking his third championship win in just five seasons.

Reid expressed his gratitude towards Chiefs owner Clark Hunt and the Hunt family for the continued trust in his leadership. “Over the last 11 years, Tammy and I have cherished making Kansas City our home. This community’s support has been overwhelming,” Reid stated in a press release.

His tenure in Kansas City has not just been a personal journey but a transformative era for the franchise, marked by unprecedented success on the field and a deep connection with the community.
