Brittany Mahomes heartbroken to find evidence of another evil home invader who took something she loved
since Brittany and Patrick Mahomes recorded their home being invaded a week ago, the Mahomes family has endured a wide spectrum of emotions. There was the initial terror, the vigilant instinct to protect little Sterling and Bronze and an eventual emotional bond developed with their new neighbors. Now, the evil has returned, and when Brittany Mahomes found out, she was devastated.
Valuable items stolen from Mahomes house
“Guys, are you freaking kidding me?” the wife of the Kansas City Chiefs QB cried out on her Instagram story Wednesday afternoon in pure disbelief. “I don’t know what’s going on.”
She discovered that right under her nose, her and Patrick’s home had been ransacked once again. The first time resulted in a joke and a new friend. But this time, something she loved had gone missing, and the culprit got away.
After presumably reviewing their home security footage, Brittany left a heartbreaking message on her Instagram story on a black screen: “I’m so sad.”
Suspect identified in Mahomes home invasion
The missing items were duck eggs that had been laid by last week’s friendly intruder, a mother duck who nested outside the Mahomeses’ Kansas City mansion.
Brittany developed a bond with the fellow maternal figure, expressing gratitude that the duck felt safe at their house and checking diligently on the nest full of eggs.
Their special relationship made the events of Wednesday that much more devastating, as several unhatched eggs went missing, and others were left broken in a gruesome scene, with the duck nowhere to be found. It turned out that a new invader attacked overnight, confirmed in Brittany’s final black Instagram slide.
“It was a raccoon at 4:30am this morning,” she wrote.
