Prince William and Princess Kate’s three children have been praised online after footage of them offering polite gestures to military personnel has resurfaced on social media site TikTok.

Prince George (10), Princess Charlotte (9) and Prince Louis (6) have taken on an increased position within the monarchy since the accession of their grandfather, King Charles III. Now, as children to the Prince of Wales they have moved one position closer to the throne and in addition to attending a number of high-profile events in 2023, were also present at the coronation.

So far this year, the three Wales children have not made a joint public appearance following the news that Princess Kate had experienced health difficulties leading to a cancer diagnosis which was announced in March.

In the absence of any new joint appearances from the family, fans have taken to social media to reflect on past engagements and share favorite moment.

One which has been highlighted was the shared gestures by George, Charlotte and Louis during an appearance at the Royal International Air Tattoo at the RAF [Royal Air Force] Fairford base in Gloucestershire in July 2023.

The air tattoo is the world’s largest military air show, featuring hundreds of aircraft from different nations, and is held to support of the RAF Charitable Trust.

2023 was Prince George’s second time at the tattoo. His parents first took him in 2016 where he was photographed meeting pilots and inspecting helicopters

Last year’s event was the first time Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis had been in attendance, though the wet weather restricted the displays they were able to see.
