Taylor Swift reportedly shut down Meghan Markle’s “personal letter” to the star.
The former Suits actress allegedly sent Swift a message in an attempt to have her as a guest on her Spotify podcast, which was declined by the pop star. The Telegraph reported that despite a “personal letter” to the Shake It Off songstress, Swift wasn’t willing to join her and “declined through a representative”.
Markle’s Spotify project aired 12 episodes, each with Meghan as host while chatting with fellow A-listers including Paris Hilton and Serena Williams. Sadly Markle’s podcast was later dropped from Spotify, but she has since partnered with Lemonada Media which has released the first series of Archetypes
She is reportedly preparing to film a second instalment next year. Earlier this year, Meghan said: “I’m proud to now be able to share that I am joining the brilliant team at Lemonada to continue my love of podcasting.”
