SHOCKING: My success story Mahomes’ revealed

Published

on

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has experienced nothing but success from the minute he stepped onto an NFL field for the first time as a starter six years ago, and he already has three Super Bowl wins, three Super Bowl MVP awards, and a pair of regular season MVP awards.

It is an unprecedented amount of success at such a young age, and Mahomes recently sat down for an interview to reveal some insight into what got him to this point.

Mahomes sat down with former NFL wide receiver Nate Burleson for CBS Mornings and discussed the journey that taught him how to succeed, saying “When you’re younger it’s always good to play as many sports as possible. Getting those multiple sports and maybe not being the best allows you to figure out how to have success, that builds you up

Mahomes has been open about this topic before, as he also played baseball and basketball in high school and mentioned how both sports have played a part in improving his skills as a quarterback.

It’s obvious when you watch him, as he runs an offense like a point guard and makes unconventional throws that remind you of a pitcher.

Mahomes’ father played in the majors as a pitcher, and Mahomes was on track to potentially follow in his footsteps if the whole football thing didn’t work out as well as it did

Success looks different for everybody, but trying different things and learning how to fail and improve is a path that transcends sports
