The Kansas City Chiefs’ Hallmark Christmas movie, Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story is adding to its impressive roster of stars — and PEOPLE has the pleasure of announcing a new litter of cameos.

The first is a purr-fect addition: Catrick Mahomes!

The 7-year-old Bengal-Tabby mix, whose real name is Sly James the Cat, became a hit with local Chiefs fans when his owner, teacher Brandy Peed, began dressing him as the team’s star quarterback Patrick Mahomes — with his curly hair and all.

The popular social media cat gets dressed up for every game and has become something of a good luck charm. “I think I’ve missed doing it a few times, and we did not win,” Peed tells PEOPLE. “It’s almost a little bit of a jinx if I don’t. But we always go out all-out for Super Bowls!”

Kansas City native and The Howard Stern Show personality Richard Christy will be joining the festive fray too.

The popular radio personality, 50, joined Stern’s show in 2004. He most recently made headlines with his commentary about Super Bowl XVIII, which the Chiefs won against the San Francisco 49ers earlier this year.

While discussing Travis Kelce’s post-game kiss with Taylor Swift, Christy declared, “They’ve gotta get married. There’s no turning back now.”

Speaking of Travis Kelce, his mom, Donna Kelce, is also appearing in the film, which stars Hallmark favorites Hunter King and Tyler Hynes. Donna, King, Hynes, Jenna Bush Hager and Catrickfilmed earlier this week at the home of the football team itself, the famed Arrowhead Stadium.

Chiefs head coach Andy Reid and players Trey Smith, Mecole Hardman, Clyde Edwards-Helaire and George Karlaftis joined the actors — also including Ed Begley Jr., Diedrich Bader, Megyn Price, Richard Riehle and Christine Ebersole — on the field in over 100-degree heat on Monday, July 15.
“A week like no other because of you,” Hynes wrote on Instagram of the experience. “Thanks to everyone who stopped by to be in the movie or talk about it. To all the local talent filling our stadium and bringing a spirit only you can bring in KC, thank you . The week was hot, and it had nothin to do with the temperature ;)”

The actor, 38, added, “And thanks Mama Kelce for the ✨ pics and making me sneak a note into Trav’s locker.”

The movie follows Alana Higman (King), who enters her family in a Chiefs Fan of the Year contest and meets Derrick (Hynes), the director of fan engagement for the team — and sparks fly.

Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story will debut in November as part of Hallmark Channel’s 15th annual Countdown to Christmas.
