The news came unexpectedly and amid calls for Biden to step aside due to what seems to be ailing health challenges. A defining end and an affirmation of what many in the administration have said is Biden’s selfless and patriotic nature, he swiftly endorsed VP Kamala Harris as the presidential candidate to take his place.
