Ben Affleck has raced to his ex-wife Jennifer Garner’s home after being evacuated from the devastating California wildfires, TMZ reports.

The actor fled his $20 million Pacific Palisades bachelor pad on Tuesday after the blaze closed in.

Affleck, 52, lives a short distance from his ex-wife, with whom he shares three children.
He rushed over to their home to collect the family and all have since escaped to safety, sources told DailyMail.com

Affleck was pictured looking downcast as he drove up to his home to find it engulfed in flames yesterday.

Garner has been residing in a $53,271-a-month home just blocks away from her ex-husband whilst renovations were completed on her $8 million Brentwood farmhouse, Architectural Digest reports.

Affleck has been living at his bachelor pad since leaving the $68 million home he shared with ex-wife Jennifer Lopez following their split.

Reality TV star Spencer Pratt, 41, and his wife Heidi Montag, 38, have lost their home in the ritzy neighborhood due to the raging wildfire.

Oscar-nominated actor James Woods and Star Wars star Mark Hamill also revealed they were bundled out of the area.

High Santa Ana winds of up to 60mph have meant that firefighters have so far struggled to contain the blaze.

LA fire chief Marrone said two people have been killed although their causes of death remain unclear.

Officials have also received reports of a high number of injuries in Eaton and as many as 1,000 structures have been destroyed so far.

Southern California Edison shut off power to nearly 120,000 customers in six Southern California counties over safety concerns due to high winds and the risk of wildfires.

Another 440,000 customers could face similar shutoffs depending on weather conditions, the utility said Wednesday on its website.

Officials in and around the US city are preparing for the situation to worsen on Wednesday, as California Governor Gavin Newsom declared a state of emergency.

With thousands of firefighters already tackling the flames, the Los Angeles Fire Department put out a plea for off-duty staff to help, but weather conditions were too windy for firefighting aircraft to fly.

At least three separate blazes were burning in the metropolitan area, from the Pacific Coast inland to Pasadena
