The NFL owner Hunt’s wife, Tavia, revealed on Instagram that the incident occurred when Ava fell “down the mountain” during a hiking trip.

Ava ended up with a deep cut that forced her to go to the ER.

Fortunately, she underwent successful surgery, per Tavia.

“It’s been a long day,” Tavia wrote on her Instagram story along with a picture of herself and Ava.

“Praise God she’s in recovery and already smiling.

“Please pray for a quick and complete recovery.”

Ava reposted her mother’s message on Instagram.

She then shared an update to her 45,000+ followers on Instagram.

The SMU cheerleader Ava revealed that she’s back home following the surgery and has since been tuning in to watch the Paris Olympics, especially for Simone Biles.

“I’m feeling great (but I might still be a little drugged up),” Ava added.
