Taylor Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, has divided royal fans after he shared with his podcast listeners what it was like to meet Prince William last week at the Eras Tour in London. Speaking on New Heights, the podcast he presents with his brother, Jason Kelce, revealed all about his meeting with the Prince of Wales and his two eldest children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

“Dude, he was the coolest motherf***er,” Travis said of William. “They were an absolute delight to meet. Wasn’t sure if I was supposed to bow to them, curtsy, just be an American idiot and shake their hand.”

Jason added that because it wasn’t an official royal event, they were told before meeting William that they wouldn’t need to bow.

“I did still address him as Your Royal Highness, and I’ve never felt emasculated and I did, that was the closest I’ve ever come,” Jason joked.

“I’ve never seen you give someone that much respect,” Travis responded. “You put your beer like ten feet away from you.”

The pair added that all three were “wonderful people”, though Jason added that the highlight was Princess Charlotte, who he described as “so f***ing adorable”.
