Fox News: Three Troops Killed, Five Badly Wounded During ‘Operation Epic Fury’
The U.S. military announced on Sunday that three service members were killed in action and five are seriously wounded after a joint strike on Iran as part of Operation Epic Fury.

Several others sustained minor shrapnel injuries and concussions and will return to duty, according to U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM).
Major combat operations continue and our response effort is ongoing,” officials said.
Names and additional information of the soldiers will not be released until 24 hours after the next of kin have been notified, CENTCOM noted, adding that “the situation is fluid.”
Strikes on Iran continued for a second day after President Donald Trump and Iranian state media confirmed Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei was killed.
Trump described the attack on Saturday as “major combat operations” after recent indirect talks over Iran’s nuclear program ended without a deal.
Iran retaliated by firing missiles and drones at U.S. and Israeli military bases as well as the Saudi capital and global business hub of Dubai. Iran’s paramilitary Revolutionary Guard has made threats to launch its “most intense offensive operation” ever, targeting U.S. and Israeli bases.
Meanwhile, Iran also formed a leadership council to assume the functions and responsibilities normally held by the supreme leader until the 88-member Assembly of Experts elects a permanent successor.
Trump vowed the strikes against Iran will continue “as long as necessary” and described the campaign as focused on “peace and security,” but also encouraged Iranians to oppose their government.
After the initial strike, Trump called on the Iranian public to “seize control of your destiny” and rise up against the Islamic leadership that has ruled the nation since 1979.
When we are finished, take over your government. It will be yours to take,” Trump said in a video shared on Truth Social. “This will be probably your only chance for generations. For many years, you have asked for America’s help, but you never got it.
