Jason Kelce is not a fan and will not be the next to be roasted: “I don’t know why people do it”

Jason Kelce, retired NFL player and potential Hall of Famer, shared his thoughts on the recent trend of roasting NFL legends, particularly Tom Brady, during an episode of “The New Heights” podcast with his brother Travis.

Kelce expressed his confusion and lack of enthusiasm for the concept of roasts, stating, “It was pure entertainment and I’m really happy they did it but I just don’t get the roasts.” He further elaborated, “I don’t know why people do it. Maybe I take myself too seriously.”

Kelce seemed to question the purpose of roasts, highlighting his discomfort with the idea of making personal struggles and relationships the subject of public mockery.

He particularly referenced the recent Netflix roast of Tom Brady, which featured jokes about Brady’s divorce from Gisele Bündchen and her new relationship.

Kelce seemed to empathize with Bündchen, acknowledging that she was “deeply disappointed” with the roast and the frequent attacks on her and Brady’s failed marriage.
