Jimmy Kimmel roasts Travis Kelce as billionaire Taylor Swift’s ‘broke boyfriend’ after $34M Chiefs deal
Travis Kelce’s new contract extension just made him the highest-paid tight end in the NFL, but despite his staggering salary, he’s still a scrub to Jimmy Kimmel.
The late-night TV host congratulated Kelce, 34, on his multimillion-dollar, two year deal with the Kansas City Chiefs during his monologue on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” Tuesday before asking his studio audience, “Can you imagine being in a relationship where you make $34 million and you’re still the broke boyfriend?”
Kelce’s massive payday comes on the heels of Forbes minting his girlfriend, Taylor Swift, its newest billionaire. Citing the singer’s blockbuster Eras Tour, real estate portfolio and music catalog, the business magazine estimated her net worth to be a cool $1.1 billion.
