Just In: Prince Harry ‘texting William’ about Princess Kate’s cancer Despite been blindsided

A royal expert has claimed Prince Harry texted the Prince of Wales following Princess Kate’s cancer diagnosis announcement and branded the move an ‘olive branch’. Prince Harry allegedly texted his brother Prince William after Princess Kate’s shock cancer announcement last Friday.

The Princess of Wales appeared in a video message as she bravely announced she has been diagnosed with a type of cancer, following her abdominal surgery in January, and is now going through preventative chemotherapy for it. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex reportedly heard the news at the same time as the rest of the world and were not given an advanced warning of the announcement. In under three hours, the Sussex pair released a statement which said: “We wish health and healing for Kate and the family, and hope they are able to do so privately and in peace.”

But it is understood the couple also reached out to the Prince and Princess of Wales in private. Now royal commentator Sarah-Louise Robertson claimed the feuding brothers exchanged texts after the announcement and branded the move an “olive branch” between the two families. She told GB News: “Harry reached out to his brother last night [Friday]. “There have been some text messages, some exchanges, and the fact that has happened shows that there could now be maybe a thawing and a bit of an olive branch between the two families.
And I think, wouldn’t it be lovely if Harry could just make that apology? This is the time where you have to put all that bad blood behind you and you come together as a family. “Catherine’s diagnosis has put everything into perspective, the silly things that they were feuding about, it seems so futile.”

Harry and William have not been ‘on speaking terms’ ever since the duke left the Firm in 2020 and unleashed a series of bombshell claims about the royals. The feuding brothers did not even meet during Prince Harry’s recent dash to the UK in February after King Charles announced he’s also been diagnosed with cancer.
