Just In: “Taylor Swift Reacts with Shock After Mass Stabbing at Dance Class Celebrating Her Music
Taylor Swift says she was “completely in shock” after the mass stabbing at a dance class celebrating her music.
Three children were killed and eight others wounded in a knife attack at a dance workshop celebrating Swift’s music in Southport in northwest England Monday.
The police arrested a teenager at the scene of the attack in the seaside town on “suspicion of murder and attempted murder.”
“The horror of yesterday’s attack in Southport is washing over me continuously and I’m just completely in shock,” Swift said in an Instagram Live post on Tuesday
“The loss of life and innocence, and the horrendous trauma inflicted on everyone who was there, the families, and first responders,” she added. “These were just little kids at a dance class.”
“I am at a complete loss for how to ever convey my sympathies to these families.”
Merseyside Police said five of the injured children are critical.
