Head coach Dan Campbell has his players in the right mindset as he has seemingly turned the ship around in Detroit.

One of his players, Pro Bowl edge-rusher Aidan Hutchinson, recently chatted about the hype surrounding the team this year.

“There’s a lot of hype coming into this year, but I think it’s well-deserved hype…we understand what we got and we’re all ready,” Hutchinson told ESPN.

The Lions are one of the most complete teams in the NFL heading into 2024.

They have an offense filled with stars, including Pro Bowl quarterback Jared Goff, All-Pro wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown, All-Pro tight end Sam LaPorta, and a pair of 1,000-yard scrimmage backs in David Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs.

Defensively, they are super gritty thanks to the likes of Hutchinson, young linebacker Jack Campbell, and stud safety Brian Branch.

This team takes on the identity of Detroit, and they love to wear opponents down.

They will have a target on their backs because everybody now knows what they are capable of.

But other than the San Francisco 49ers and perhaps the rival Green Bay Packers, the NFC appears to be a lot more wide-open than the AFC.

If Dan Campbell can rally the troops like he has done each of the last few seasons, the Lions may be able to take it one step further this year.
