Kansas City Chiefs’ proposed new stadium unveiled in stunning leaked images
The Kansas City Chiefs are in search of a new home.
After 55 years at the revered Arrowhead Stadium, team owner Clark Hunt decided it might be time to build a new home, and some Kansas state legislators have already had a glimpse of the ambitious project.
On Tuesday, the 30th, just hours before the legislature concluded its session, some members of the state senate viewed conceptual renderings of what could be the new headquarters for the current NFL champions.
Architect David Manica, a staunch Chiefs fan, designed the new facilities. According to the plans, the stadium would be situated in Wyandotte County, near the Kansas Speedway and The Legends.
Manica Architecture developed the project on behalf of an unnamed real estate developer. The developer is seeking to persuade both the Chiefs and lawmakers to support the team’s move to the Kansas side of the Kansas City metro area.
