Patrick Mahomes gets first disappointment with Marquise “Hollywood” Brown over Kyrie Irving
Patrick Mahomes looks to spur the Kansas City Chiefs on to a sensational third Super Bowl in a row in 2024.
To brighten his chance at achieving this, he’s got the wide receiver he desperately needs in Marquise Hollywood Brown, but if one thing is already clear, they don’t see eye to eye on the NBA as they have a fight over Kyrie Irving.
It came after Hollywood Brown, who signed from the Arizona Cardinals, headed to watch the Los Angeles Clippers take on the Dallas Mavericks in the NBA’s First Round of the playoffs as Luka Doncic’s team eliminated the Californians with a 114-101 victory, with Kyrie Irving starring.
“Watching Kyrie up close,” Hollywood Brown posted to X.com, formerly Twitter. “He really hoops like me fr [GOAT emoji].”
But Mahomes was far from impressed as he quote tweeted the post on Elon Musk-owned platform with a GIF. He showed sheer disappointment at the post from his latest wide receiver, who will link up with Travis Kelce and Rashee Rice in Missouri.
