“Patrick Mahomes Revolutionizes Training Camp in Response to EA Sports’ Latest Game Release”

Patrick Mahomes is set to make the Kansas City Chiefs’ training camp a bit more entertaining this year by bringing along a TV, all thanks to the release of EA Sports’ College Football 25 game.

The much-anticipated game marks the first release in nine years since NCAA Football 14 hit the shelves back in July 2013. EA had shifted its focus to the Madden and FIFA series, which are brought out each year. Fans and players have been buzzing on social media since its official drop on Monday, sharing clips and expressing their approval for the game’s comeback.

However, the timing isn’t perfect for Mahomes, who is just back from his off-season break and heading straight into training camp with the Chiefs being among the first to kick off this Sunday.
Despite the busy schedule, the star quarterback is determined to enjoy the new release with his teammates, hence the decision to bring a TV to the facility.

Explaining his unusual move, Mahomes said: “This is my first year that I’m bringing a TV. I have never brought a TV before, but NCAA (EA College Football 25) came out. I brought a TV for NCAA and the Olympics… so that’s why I’m doing that.”

With recent changes to NCAA rules allowing players to profit from their name, image, and likeness (NIL), it’s expected that hundreds of players will see financial gains from the new game.

EA confirmed the game’s revival three years ago, with this summer being eyed as the launch of the new franchise. However, after months of silence, many speculated that the game might be delayed or even scrapped.

Mahomes is a Texas Tech alum, where he played for the Red Raiders for three seasons before being picked by the Chiefs in the first round of the draft. He was the second quarterback selected, following Mitchell Trubisky, who was chosen by the Chicago Bears with the second overall pick.
