Revealed: The Wembley shortcut that could save Taylor Swift fans HOURS queuing for tube as London Eras Tour shows get underway
Taylor Swift fans have revealed a secret shortcut to beat the crowds at the star’s sell-out Eras Tour at Wembley Stadium tonight
Some 90,000 people are set to descend on Wembley tonight as the Bad.
Blood songstress starts a mammoth four-day musical marathon at the arena – to the delight of her London fans.
The American singer, 34, is currently on the UK leg of her Eras tour, and has already wowed fans with performances in Edinburgh, Liverpool and Cardiff marked with marriage proposals, a Welsh welcome and even a small earthquake.
Reminiscing on her Cardiff show dates, she took to Instagram on Thursday with a slew of snaps from her performance in Wales.
She praised Cardiff fans by saying: ‘Cardiff!! My first time playing in Wales and that was truly out of control in the best way – looking out into that massive, bouncing, dancing sea of people… I’ll never forget it.’
Taylor continued: ‘I’m absolutely living for these UK crowds. Next up: our weekend at Wembley!! See you tomorrow London!’
As the star prepares for her performance in the capital tonight, fans have unveiled secret shortcuts to save time and beat the crowds when travelling via Wembley Park tube station, which is anticipated to become congested with concertgoers tonight.
TikTok user @GMurphy101 shared: ‘Walk down the side of the Wembley arena, turn right onto Empire Way and walk down to the tube station. Takes five to ten minutes – or stay in this queue for hours!’
Laura Stokes, Founder of UK travel company Coach Hire Comparison, provides essential travel tips to ensure concertgoers have a smooth and enjoyable experience when commuting.
She said: ‘To avoid heavy crowds and potentially delayed transport, aim to arrive at Wembley well ahead of the concert’s start time.
‘Arriving by early afternoon gives you plenty of time to find your way around the area, find your seat and soak in the pre-concert atmosphere without the stress of last-minute travel.
‘For those travelling by coach, the nearest major coach station is Victoria Coach Station. From Victoria, you can easily transfer to the London Underground.
