The Chiefs are the clear-cut best team in the NFL after winning Super Bowl LVIII, and it’s hard to pick against them this upcoming year because of all the talent on their roster.

Patrick Mahomes was able to make do with a watered-down receiving corps last season, but this year he will have more weapons at his disposal.

Not only did Kansas City sign Marquise Brown to a one-year deal, but they also traded up in the 2024 NFL Draft to take Xavier Worthy, another vertical speed threat.

Worthy was one of the fastest players in his draft class and ended up in the perfect spot with the Chiefs.

During Kansas City rookie camp, Patrick Mahomes was seen connecting with Worthy on a deep touchdown via KC Sports Network

the video, Mahomes scrambles to his left after feeling pressure and chucks the football downfield where Worthy is able to come down with it for the score.

In The play ended with a huge celebration both on the field for the offense and for the fans lucky enough to witness it in person.

It’s early on in the process, but it looks like Mahomes already has trust in his young receiver who should find himself open often.

With Mahomes under center, Worthy is in line for several exciting players like the one in camp.
