Taylor Swift Chokes Back Tears as Fans Chant Her Name at Emotional Final Liverpool Gig – Just Days After Ex Joe Alwyn Breaks Silence on Their Split!

Taylor Swift chocked back tears after fans chanted her name during her final gig in Liverpool on Saturday, following ex-boyfriend of six years Joe Alwyn finally breaking his silence on their split.

Mid way through the show the American superstar, 34, wore a flowing red dress to perform Champagne Problems before before becoming visibly overwhelmed by the 60K audience’s response at Anfield Stadium.

After performing the song, which she wrote with ex Joe on her 2020 album Evermore, the crowd chanted her name and Taylor removed her ear piece and so she could fully appreciate the moment.

Saying: ‘It’s genuinely such an honour to play for a crowd like this, that you would do something that that for us’.

Before shouting: ‘I love you so much, Liverpool, thank you!’.

On Friday, Taylor’s Surprise Song was This Is What You Came For, performed by Rihanna but co-written by her and her ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris.

Taylor prefaced the song: ‘Every single time I have an acoustic set, I’m always trying to think of things you might want to hear — maybe things that might be a little bit unexpected.

‘Let’s see how we did tonight.’

She performed the track as a mashup with her song ‘Gold Rush’ from her 2020 album Evermore.
