The 34-year-old Kansas City Chiefs tight end — who surprised the entirety of London’s Wembley Stadium and millions of fans all over the world when he stepped right into girlfriend Taylor Swift’s onstage skit on June 23 — eagerly discussed the electrifying moment with brother Jason Kelce on the latest episode of their New Heights podcast.
“I initially mentioned it to Tay,” Travis told his older brother on the Wednesday, July 3, episode of the pod, revealing that the onstage appearance was his idea — and she was down.
“I was like, ‘How funny would it be if I just rolled out on one of the bikes during the 1989 era?'” Travis recalled. “She started laughing, she was like, ‘Would you seriously be up for doing something like that?'”
Travis, of course, was all in. “I was just like, ‘What? I would love to do that, are you kidding me? I’ve seen the show enough — might as well put me to work here,'” the NFL star — who has attended Eras Tour shows across Asia, Australia, Europe and the U.S. — recounted. “And sure enough, she found the perfect part of the show for me to come in.”
